cutting with the feed tube (A2)
Before cleaning the machine, always
switch it off by moving the variable
speed control (A15) into the "O"
position and then removing the power
plug from the wall socket alternatively
open the isolating switch.

with specification in accordance with the details on
the data plate on the back of the machine base
(A16).
Place the machine on a sturdy bench or table 650
- 900 mm high.
Mount the wall rack (E) for the cutting tools (A6-
A12) and the ejector plate (A13) on a wall close
to the machine.
Safety check before processing
with the feeder (A5).
Remove the feeder (A5), any cutting tools (A6-
A12) and the ejector plate (A1 3) in accordance
with the instructions under the heading "Removing
the feeder", and then check that the machine will
not start when the speed control (A15) is in the "I"
position.
Place the feeder (A5) on the machine base (A16)
with the text "Close Open" at 5 o'clock in relation
to the outlet of the machine base (D1) and press
the feeder clockwise as far as it will go and is
firmly in position (D2). Then check that the machine
stops when the feeders handle (A3) is raised and
re-starts when the feeders handle is lowered, with
the speed control in the "I" position.
Set the variable speed control to position "I" and
then lift the feeders handle and check that the
shaft (A14) then stops rotating within four seconds.
In the event of any fault or malfunction, call in a
service mechanic to correct the fault before using
the machine.
The feeder (A5).
The feeder is used together with a suitable cutting
tool (A6 - A12) for slicing, dicing, shredding,
grating of fruit, vegetables, dry bread, cheese, nuts
and/or mushrooms.
The large feed compartment (A4) is used mainly
for feeding potatoes, onions, etc. and cutting
larger foods such as cabbage. The large feed
compartment is also used when the foods has to
be cut/sliced in a specific direction, e.g. when
slicing tomatoes and lemons.
The feed tube (A2) is mainly used in connection
with processing elongated foods such as
cucumber.
Removing the feeder (A5).
Turn the feeder anti-clockwise as far as it will go
(C), then lift off the feeder.
Turn the cutting tool (A6, 7, 8, 9, 1 1 or 12)
clockwise and lift it off.
Lift off the dicing grid (A10).
Lift off the ejector plate (A1 3).
Fitting the feeder (A5).
Place the ejector plate (A1 3) on the shaft (A14)
and turn/press down the ejector plate into its
coupling (B1).
During dicing: place the dicing grid (A10) with the
sharp edge of the knives upward, so that the
recess in the side of the dicing grid fits into the
guide grove on the machine base (B2).
Then place the standard slicer so that it drops
down into its coupling (B3).
During slicing, shredding and grating: place only
the chosen cutting tool (A6, 7, 8, 9, 1 1 or 12) on
the shaft and rotate the cutting tool so that it drops
into its coupling.
Place the feeder (A5) on the machine base (A16)
so that the text "Close Open" is at 5 o'clock in
relation to the outlet of the machine base (D1) and
turn the feeder clockwise as far as it will go and it
is firmly in position (D2).
Using the speed control (A15).
With the speed control (A15) in the "O" position
the machine is switched off. In the "I" position the
machine operates continuously at low speed and
in the "II" position continuously at high speed.
Cleaning.
Always clean the machine thoroughly immediately
after use.
First switch of the machine by setting the variable
speed control (A15) to the "O" position and then
remove the power supply plug from the wall
socket alternatively turn off the mains switch.
If you have used the dicing grid (A10), leave it in

should not be cleaned in a dishwasher since the
high pH value in the detergent can cause
corrosion or blacking of the metal.
Never use sharp objects, scouring powder or
pads, or high pressure hoses.
Never leave the or cutting tools (A6-A12) in a wet
condition or on a stainless steel bench when they
are not being used, but dry them thoroughly and
always place them on the wall rack (E) on the

raise the feeders handle and check that the shaft
(A14) stops rotating within four seconds.
Remove the power supply plug from the wall
socket, alternatively turn off the mains switch and
then check that the electrical cable is in good
condition and has no cracks.
If the electrical cable is worn or damaged or
shows signs of cracking, or if any of the above
safety functions are not in good working order, a
service mechanic should be called in to make
repairs before the machine is taken back into
operation.
