CHANGING THE D-RING
Check that the colour (indicating the side) matches that of the
battery compartment and that the D-Ring is the correct size.
Hold the hearing aid in one hand and the D-Ring in the other.
First connect the bottom end of the D-Ring by pushing it into
the bottom clip of the hearing aid. Then connect the top of the
D-Ring by pushing it into the top clip.
REMOVING THE D-RING
Hold the hearing aid in one hand and the D-Ring in the other.
Pull the upper and lower clips with the other hand (in the
opposite direction to the arrows in the illustration above) until
they come away from the hearing aid.
It is important to hold the D-Ring as close to the clips as
possible when pulling to prevent causing any damage.

REMOVING YOUR HEARING AID
Run your fingertip around the edge of the concha until you
find the D-Ring tube. Lift it away from the concha and gently
pull to remove the hearing aid from your ear.
Your hearing aid is fitted with a noise-sensitive programme
change. To activate this function, bring your hand up (with
your fingers together) parallel to your ear until you hear the
sound confirming the programme change.
This may require some practice. Your hearing healthcare
professional can help you to use and make the most of this
feature.
