Packing list

 The following parts are packed separately in the packing box.
 When you have unpacked the box, please check the parts that it contains.
 Contact your dealer if anything is missing or broken.

Assembly

 Read the operator's manual carefully to ensure that you assemble the product correctly.
Using a product that has been incorrectly assembled could lead to an accident or serious injury.
Handle shaft / drive shaft
Cutting attachment to drive shaft installation

Before you start

 Power head and handle assembly
 Drive shaft assembly
 Cutting attachment with guide bar and saw chain
 Operator's manual
 Socket wrench
 L-wrench
 Safety goggles
 Shoulder harness
 Guide bar cover
WARNING
1. Remove protective caps from handle shaft assembly.
2. Loosen clamping bolts (A) on drive shaft.
3. Pull flexible drive shaft coupler (B) 51 - 76 mm (2 -3 inches)
out of handle shaft.
4. Align flexible drive shaft coupler with drive shaft socket and
slide together until handle shaft is fully seated into drive
shaft.
5. Tighten clamping bolts (A).
1. Loosen the two screws (C) and locator screw (D) on cutting
attachment.
