Sorting of parts:
Each room corresponds to a whole: front wall, rear wall, left side wall, right side wall, roof, door. Put the pieces a few
meters around the foundation to keep enough working space. Check that the number of parts corresponds to that
indicated on the list before assembly.
WOOD TREATMENT AFTER ASSEMBLY
For the maintenance of the shelter, apply a coat of stain every year to the outside of the shelter as well as on the floor.
It is advisable to apply a stain 2 shades superior to the shade of the essence of wood in order to limit the speed of
discoloration of the wood and the local appearance of traces of graying. The garden shed that you have just purchased
is a durable wooden product. If properly maintained, this product will remain in good condition for a long time and will
give you satisfaction for many years. Please note the following:
- Keep the packaging until the end of assembly in a dry place, but not in direct contact with the ground and protected
from atmospheric conditions (humidity, sun, etc.). Do not store the packaging in a heated room!
- The materials used are natural products and their quality may change depending on climatic conditions, despite the
fact that the materials have been dried before treatment. When choosing the place to mount your garden shed, make
sure that the shed will not be subjected to extreme weather conditions (areas of strong wind or heavy snowfall);
otherwise you should fix the shelter to the ground (with anchor pieces for example).
WARNING !
Snow: The maximum load on the roof must not exceed 30kg / m2
The shelter should be mounted on a flat, level surface.
Throughout the assembly, remember to pre-drill before screwing!
Handle the bituminous felt with care and preferably with gloves and protective glasses so as not to tear it and protect
your eyes.
GUARANTEE:
Remember that wood is a living product and despite extensive treatment, lumber stored in the open can shrink, swell,
warp and even crack.
The alterations indicated below are normal:
- Knots developed in wood
- Slight color changes (which have no effect on the durability of the product)
- Straight slots on the floor surface
Alterations caused by heat such as small cracks or longitudinal cracks which have no effect on the structure of the
shelter
- Resin stitches up to 5 cm long
- Twists and deformations if the material is still usable
In dry weather, knots can fall. You can fill these holes with a flexible wood repair kit.
