Digital Terrestrial TV Set. We strongly suggest that you study carefully the operation instruction and
pay special attention to the precautions before attempting to operate the unit.
Note:
Only when the power supply is AC~230V, 50Hz can this unit be used.
Warning:
To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
To reduce the chance of fire, electric shock, or annoying interference, use only the recommended
accessories.
This PDT totally meets the existing related international common standards.
Please peruse the following safety precautions when you attempt to operate it.
OVERLOADING: Never overload a supply jack, and unsuitable power cord or adapters might lead to
fire or electric shock accident.
LIQUIDS:
The PDT must not be exposed to drips or splashes of any liquid or surroundings of
high humidity, e.g. the basement.
CLEANING:
Disconnect the PDT from power supply before wiping it with a piece of slightly damp
cloth in stead of solvents.
VENTILATION:
The slots on the cover of the PDT must be left uncovered for the sake of ventilation.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight or a heater, nor stack any electronic equipment on
it.
ACCESSORIES: Use the accessories only that are recommended herein by the manufacturer of this
PDT so as to avoid any unwanted disaster or damage to it.
CONNECTION TO THE ANTENNA:
Before connecting or disconnecting the PDT to/from the antenna, sure to cut off its
power supply. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN DAMAGE THE ANTENNA AND THIS UNIT.
CONNECTION TO A TV SET:
Before connecting or disconnecting the TV cable to/from the PDT, sure to cut off the
power supply. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN DAMAGE THE TV SET AND THIS UNIT.
EARTHING:
The antenna cable Must BE connected to the system earth of the antenna and the
earthing system must comply with local criteria for electrical safety.
LOCATION:
The PDT is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to lightning, rain or direct
sunlight in open air.
