CUSTOMIZE DETECTION REGION (AREA EDIT)
Please Note: This setting is only available when motion detection is enabled.
Customize Detection Region (Area Edit) allows the system to notify you when motion is detected in the selected regions.
If you wish to be notified of all motion in the cameras field of view, skip this step.
1.
Right click to view the main menu > Select System Setup > Select Channel Setup > Select Video Detection.
2.
Select the channel you want to adjust the detection region for.
3.
Select "Area Edit".
4.
To customize your preferred detection region, Right click > Select "Clear All".
5.
Select the area you wish to receive motion notifications from by left clicking and dragging the mouse over your
preferred area. Tip: To delete a selected area, left click each box individually to delete the detection region.
6.
To exit, Right click > Select "Return".
Please Note: The highlighted area is
your active detection region. Motion
outside of the highlighted area will
not be notified.
