• Never use the appliance as a grill for meat, fish, etc. neither
place over the grid any dish or any kind of recipients.
• Do not use the toaster but to toast bread.
• Do not spread butter or any other fat on the bread before
place it over the toaster.
• Bread may burn; bread toasters must not be used in the
proximity of, or under curtains or other flammable materials.
They must be kept under surveillance.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external
timer or a separate system of remote control.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be
done by children unless they are over 8 years and they are
under supervision.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar
qualified personnel in order to avoid any danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Connect the appliance into the mains.
• Press the switch (2) to the on position I.
• Next turn the timer knob (3) to select the desired working time (maximum 5 minutes). At this moment the
toaster will start working.
• Place the bread on the grid (1).
• The roasting times are varied depending on the thickness and dampness of the bread.
• Check the roasting process and turn the toast in the appropriate time. Be careful when doing this operation, it
is hot.
• When the programmed time runs out the toaster will switch off automatically. Then an acoustic signal will ring.
• If you wish to stop the toaster before the time runs out, set the switch (2) to the "0" position. Never force the
timer knob to place it in the "0" position.
• Once finished the process unplug the appliance from the mains.
• While the toaster is working it is important to keep the crumb-collector tray (4) in place.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning make sure the toaster is unplugged from the mains and allow it to cool.
• Take out the crumb-collector tray (4) by pulling from it and clean out the breadcrumbs.
• Replace the tray in its place.
• Do not insert any type of object.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, such a metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the
appliance.
