The grinding degree of the coffee depends on the filled amount and the grinding time.
A shorter grinding time results in a coffee with a coarser grind. Also read the grinding degree instructions in the instruction
manual for your coffee machine.

Espresso
Caution: Regardless of bean type and degree of roast, espresso coffee requires a fine grind.
Amount
16 g (for 2 cups)
32 g (for 4 cups)
56 g (for 7 cups)
1. A COARSE grind is generally used for percolators and coffee pots. A MEDIUM grind is used for filter coffee makers and
espresso machines with steam. A FINE grind is used for espresso machines with an electric pump.
2. Adjust the grinding time according to your taste and type of coffee beans.
3. For the freshest, most flavourful coffee, grind only the required amount for the coffee you are about to brew. Coffee beans
that can be stored in air-tight containers in the freezer, can be ground while they are still frozen. The ground coffee remaining
in the coffee grinder ages quickly and will affect the flavour of the freshly ground coffee beans. Clean the grinding chamber,
blades and lid after each use.
4. The appliance is not suitable for grinding wet, very hard or elastic foods. Do not grind peanuts or kernels such as wheat, rice,
barley or dried corn. Grinding these foods may damage the appliance. Do not use the appliance to grind ice cubes.
5. Do not grind peppercorns or other spices, these products have a strong aroma and could affect the flavour of your ground
coffee.
