OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Once assembled place the unit in an undercover area away from any source of moisture or water.
2. For optimum operation avoid setting up the unit near any other strong light source or draughty area.
3.Connect the plug to a suitable electrical socket.
4.Switch the unit on.
MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the unit from the power source before cleaning or emptying the trap.
Base and outside surfaces can be wiped down with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use wet cloths or harsh
chemicals to clean the unit.
The insect trap can be removed, emptied and washed with water. Always ensure that no moisture
remains before replacing the trap and switching the unit on.
Always use the proper parts supplied with the unit.
The UV lamp has approximately a six month life, after which time it may need to be replaced. To
replace the bulb:
1.Unscrew the four screws holding the basket underneath the unit and gently remove. Please note that
this section is connect to the fan – care must be taken not to break the wires.
2.Unscrew the single screw in the clamp holding the bulb in place.
3.Remove the used bulb and replace with new bulb.
4.Re-screw the clamp in place.
5.Replace the basket and re-screw the four holding screws into place.
