ATTENTION
New chains stretch during the initial period of use. For this reason, check the
chain tension frequently and adjust it if necessary, as a loose chain can easily
jump off or cause rapid wear of the chain and chain stay.
7. Fuel and saw-chain oil

Fuel is explosive!
• Switch off the engine and let it cool down before refuelling.
• It is essential that you observe all safety instructions for handling

Only use the prescribed fuel/oil mixture, mixing ratio 40:1, use only 2-stroke
oil for mixing.

Always check after filling the fuel:
• Place the device in a safe place, with the fuel/oil mixture filler cap (4)
facing upwards.
• Clean the fuel filler cap (4) and filler neck if necessary
• Slowly unscrew and remove the fuel filler cap (4)
• Carefully fill in the fuel-oil mixture. Do not spill!
• Check the seal in the fuel filler cap (4) for damage and clean if
necessary
• Replace damaged seal immediately!
• Tighten the tank cap (4) with seal by hand
• Always wipe up any spilled fuel.
Filling in saw-chain oil
• Place the device safely, with the oil cover for saw-chain oil (5) facing
upwards
• Clean oil cap (5) and filler neck if necessary
• Slowly unscrew and remove the oil cover (5)
• Fill in saw-chain oil carefully. Do not spill!
• Check the seal in the oil cover (5) for damage and clean if necessary
