IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Take care when the range hood is operating simultaneously with an open fireplace
or burner that depend on the air in the environment and are supplied by other than
electrical energy, as the range hood removes the air from the environment which a
burner or fireplace need for combustion.
There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the
same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels.
Follow the local laws applicable for external air evacuation. Regulations concerning
the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
Do not check the status of the filtres while the range hood is operating.
Do not touch the light bulbs after operating the appliance.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, before cleaning or
maintenance.
INSTALLATION
Installing the hood
The range hood should be placed at a distance of 65‐75 cm from the cooking surface
for best effect. When the range hood is located above a gas appliance, the minimum
distance between the supporting surface for the cooking vessels on the hob and the
lowest part of the range hood that shall be at least 65 cm.
For your safety, ask a qualified technician to perform the electrical installation of the
hood.
