Before using, inspect the Floor Jack thoroughly. Look for
hydraulic oil leaks, cracks in welds, loose or missing parts,
and any other conditions that may affect safe operation.
Before each use, test the Floor Jack for proper operation
prior to use. If the Floor Jack is not working properly,
follow the air removal procedure outlined on page 3.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Jack will not lift
Floor Jack will not lift to capacity
Floor Jack will not lower completely
To prevent serious injury: Use caution when troubleshooting a malfunctioning jack. Stay clear
of the supported load. Completely resolve all issues before use. Before returning Floor Jack to
operation, test without a load by raising and fully lowering.
Change the hydraulic oil at least once every three years.
1. With Floor Jack fully lowered, remove the tray to
expose the Oil Fill Screw.
2. Remove the Oil Fill Screw on top of the reservoir.
3. Tip the Floor Jack on its side to drain the old
hydraulic oil out of the housing. Allow to drain
completely. Dispose of the old hydraulic fluid in
accordance with local regulations.
4. With the Floor Jack upright, fill the housing with new,
high quality hydraulic oil (not included) until the oil is
1/4" below the top of the fill hole.
5. Turn handle counterclockwise to open the valve.
Pump the handle continuously to remove air from
the system.
6. Recheck oil level and refill as needed.
7. Reinstall Oil Fill Screw and reinstall Tray.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Store jack in a safe, dry
location away from children and pets.
