OPERATION
1.
Adjust the head support with the knob on the back.
The button is fixed when it is pressed in. Once the
knob is unlocked, turn clockwise to tighten and turn
anticlockwise to loosen.
2.
Adjust the height by snapping the pin into the hole
to lock it securely.
3.
To adjust the angle of vision, loosen the knob on
either side of the helmet and switch the angle lock
to the desired tilt position (five selected and
positioned in the centre as standard). As soon as the
desired angle is reached, tighten the knobs until
they snap into place. The helmet should still swing
up but not slide down when it is put on for welding.
4.
To adjust the distance between the user's face and
the anti-glare cassettes, loosen the knobs on either sides of the helmet until the headband
moves freely back and forth, then position the headband as desired at one of the three slots
(the headband is positioned in the middle by default). This should be carried out on one side
at a time and both sides should be in the same position for the automatic blackout filter to
work properly.
Shadow setting
These darkness levels are available in the DIN 9 to DIN 13 standard. Users must set the correct
darkness level for the relevant application.
Sensitivity control
Sensitivity is fully automatic and cannot be set.
Delay control
Once the welding process is finished, the viewing window automatically changes from dark to
light, but with a preset delay to ensure balance. The delay time is fully automatic from MIN (0.1
sec.) to MAX (1 sec.).
