Set temperature
Connect your device. The internal temperature
is controlled by a thermostat. Depending on the
model, there are 6 (8) settings. 1 is the warmest
setting and 5 (7) is the coldest setting. At 0, the
refrigerator is off.
Note: If it is particularly hot or if you open the
door frequently, the desired coldness may not be
achieved.
Positioning of shelves and door compartments
The refrigerator is equipped with several shelves that can be positioned as required. To
enable the storage of food packaging of different sizes, the door compartments can
be mounted at different heights. To do this, pull the balcony towards the arrows until it
detaches and then position it as required.
Defrosting frozen food
Frozen foods can be thawed in one of the refrigerator compartments or at room
temperature before use. Place the frozen food in a tray to catch any condensation that
occurs during thawing.
Note: Refrigerators without freezer compartments are not suitable for storing frozen
food for a longer period of time.
Refrigerating fresh food
• Do not put warm or steaming foods in the refrigerator.
• Always wrap food or store it in airtight containers. This is especially true for foods
with strong odors.
• Make sure air can circulate freely between foods in the refrigerator.
• Wrap any type of meat in plastic wrap and store it on the shelf, directly above the
vegetable drawer, for a maximum of 2 days.
• Cooked foods can be placed on any of the shelves.
• Store fresh fruits and vegetables in the vegetable drawer.
• Pack butter and cheese in airtight containers, aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
• Store milk bottles or milk cartons in the door compartment only when closed.
• Do not store bananas, onions, potatoes and garlic in the refrigerator.
