Functionality (Figure 1)
The connection hose transports the cold water coming from your filter system into the solar
installation's chambers, where it is heated by solar energy and then fed back through the second
connection hose towards the pool.
A= Pipe from the filter system to the solar collector
B= Pipe from the solar collector to the pool's inlet nozzle.
Water heating depends on the following factors: flow rate and solar radiation. Solar heating only
works efficiently when the sun is shining. It can remain connected to the pump even in bad
weather, since this only causes a small drop in pressure at the pump.
INTENDED USE
The solar installation is used to heat water using solar energy and is designed for in-ground and
above-ground pools. Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage caused by unintended use. Any modification to the product may
negatively impact safety, cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.
Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.
UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the box and remove the product.
After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent
claims cannot be accepted.
SETUP
The ideal installation site
Your solar installation needs a place with as much sunlight as possible.
Never position the solar collector above your pool's water level.
Keep a certain safe distance from the pool.
The solar collector is positioned so that you have the maximum possible solar radiation.
Setup
1.
Take the solar collector out of the packaging (Figure 2)
2.
Remove the screw connection from the inlet and outlet. (Figure 3)
3.
Put the O-ring on both connection pieces and fix them firmly on the inlet and outlet. (Figures
5 and 6)
4.
Close the water supply at the inlet nozzle in the pool. (Figure 7)
5.
Ensure that all water-carrying pipes are closed (Figure 8)
6.
Remove the pipe between the filter pump and the inlet nozzle. Only unscrew the connection
directly at the inlet nozzle. (Figure 9)
7.
Now connect this pipe to the solar collector (Figure 2, point A) and secure it with a hose
clamp. (Figure 10)
8.
Attach the supplied Ø 38 mm hose to the outlet side of the solar collector (Figure 2, point B,
11) and the second end of the hose to your pool's inlet nozzle. (Figure 12).
