SETTING UP THE SCALE
MUnpacking
The scale is packaged in three easy to assemble pieces and must be re-assembled
before use. Follow these directions for assembly.
1 . Remove fixing screw from scale housing.
2. With the arrow facing the front of the scale, place plate onto the scale housing.
Affix with fixing screw.
3 . With the arrow facing the front of the scale, slide the baby basket onto the
plate, from the rear of the plate.
Before Use
1 . Choose your power source.
Use AC adapter or six "C" size alkaline batteries. The BabyWeigh Scale has a
power save feature that will turn off the scale after I hour without use.
© For Adapter Use
Push small end of the AC adapter (11) into the AC adapter input (10) and insert
plug into a standard wall outlet.
For Battery Use
Remove battery compartment cover (13) from bottom of the scale housing and
correctly place the batteries in the direction indicated in the compartment, by
placing one battery on each side and placing the last battery in the center, repeat
for the next three batteries. When the power of the batteries is decreasing, dis-
play shows LO. Alll batteries should then be replaced immediately. Estimated
battery lie is approximately 1000 hours of use.
2 . Check the level of the scale.
+ To get an accurate weight, place the scale on a flat surface. Adjust four legs
under the scale until bubble appears in the center of the Level Gauge (5) as
shown below.
