11. When storing the electric scooter for a longer period of time, the battery should be
charged at least once a month to prevent it from being completely discharged.
BATTERY FAILURE WILL OCCUR IF THE BATTERY CANNOT BE KEPT
CHARGED. DO NOT ALLOW THE BATTERY TO DRAIN!!! ALWAYS CHARGE THE BATTERY
BEFORE THE BATTERY INDICATOR SHOWS THAT THE BATTERY IS LOW. ALLOWING THE
BATTERY TO COMPLETELY DISCHARGE WILL REDUCE ITS LIFE AND MAY DESTROY THE
BATTERY OR IT MAY CAUSE THE CHARGER OR BATTERY TO OVERHEAT AND CAUSE A FIRE
WHEN THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER IS NEXT CHARGED..
BATTERY DRIVES, TERMINALS, POWER CABLES AND BRAKE CABLES MAY
CONTAIN LEAD, LEAD COMPOUNDS AND OTHER CHEMICALS. ALWAYS WASH YOUR
HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER WORKING ON THE Sl ELECTRIC SCOOTER.
BATTERY RECYCLING
With proper maintenance and use (according to the instructions for charging and storage O,
the battery used in this product has a life of one to three years. The stated wide range of
battery life is mainly affected by the frequency of use of the product. If the battery discharges
quickly or cannot be charged properly, it should should be removed from the e-scooter and
handed over for recycling. The law prohibits the disposal of batteries containing lead
compounds in general municipal waste. Inform your local authority responsible for the
management of hazardous waste.
