BEFORE EVERY RIDE
1. Make sure your helmet is on correctly.
3. Wear protective clothing and gloves. 4.
5. Use eye protection that does not restrict peripheral vision.
6. Follow the Road Traffic Rules.
7. Check that the brake lights, side direction indicators and main headlights are working
properly.
8. Check that the horn is working.
9. Check the correct setting of the brakes and their functionality (see further detailed
instructions).
Check that you can comfortably reach the brake levers and squeeze them to stop safely.
Check that all parts of the electric scooter are properly and securely fixed and adjusted.
Pay particular attention to handles, wheels, all controls and load securing.
10. Check the condition of the tires. Tires must not be excessively worn, cracked or cut,
properly seated on the rim and properly inflated (DO NOT USE AIR COMPRESSORS AT
PETROL STATIONS TO INFLATE TIRES).
11. Check that the wheels turn evenly and that the rim is not bent or damaged (the front
wheel must be undamaged for the front brake to work properly).
12. Before you start, make sure the throttle is in the 'OFF' position.
This will prevent the electric scooter from unexpectedly moving forward after turning the
ignition key.
13. Before starting, check that the "AIR SWITCH" button located under the seat is set to the
"ON" position.
