CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Stainless steel surfaces should be wiped down regularly using a quality stainless steel cleaner and
a lint-free towel. This will remove light dust and fingerprints. Always wipe the grain of the stainless
steel. Never use anything abrasive.
Water and other liquids spilled or splashed on the unit should be cleaned off immediately and dried
thoroughly.
Keeping your tool chest covered will protect it from dust and moisture that could potentially damage
the unit.

PROBLEM
After closing lid it is difficult to
turn the key in the lock.
Not all drawers latch after
closing lid.
Drawers appear to be completely
closed although one or more
drawers are not latched.
Drawers will be close.
Drawers stick when
attempting to open from the
closed position.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Key is being inserted at the
wrong notch.
2. Lid is not completely closed.
3. Lid liner is too close to front
edge.
Drawers are not completely
closed.
Items may have fallen behind
drawers, interfering with
latching mechanism on the
inside back panel of the chest.
Drawer slides have a rubber
stop at the end of every slide
and when drawer is closed the
drawer rail engages with the
slide stop.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Locate notch at center of lock:
insert key at center location.
2. Closed lid completely.
3. Reposition Liner.
Close each drawer completely.
Latching mechanism is on the
inside back panel of chest.
Remove lowest drawers and
remove any obstructions.
Replace drawers once resolved.
Grease the rubber stop at the
end of the slide to reduce
resistance.
