ELECTRIC KETTLE
Please read this manual carefully before operating your appliance and retain
this manual for future reference. Follow all instructions and explanations
while handling your appliance. If the appliance is sold or passed on, then
ensure that the new owner always receives this manual.
Important Safety Instructions
Before using the appliance, check for any damage. If there is any damage, do
not use it and immediately contact the customer service.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord/ plug or if dropped and
damaged in any manner.
To protect against fire, electric shock or injury, do not place the cord, plug or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or touch hot surfaces.
Do not place the appliance on or near any heat sources such as hot gas
stove/ electric burner/ microwave/ oven.
Do not install the appliance in an area prone to combustible gas leaks, grease,
or metal dust.
This appliance is not intended to be used by people including children with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions
concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
To protect against electric shock, always unplug from outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. To disconnect, remove the plug from the outlet. Do not
yank the cord as it may damage the cord and eventually cause electric shock.
To avoid burns/ cuts/ risk of personal injury, use extreme caution while
handling the appliance.
Do not use it for other than intended purposes. This appliance is intended for
household use only, not for commercial or industrial use.
To avoid an electrical overload, do not operate another high-wattage
appliance on the same power socket.
The use of an accessory attachment not approved by the manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or injury.
Avoid contact with pets and plants when the appliance is in operation.

Warnings
Do not open the lid while the water is boiling or hot.
Do not touch hot surfaces or hot water. Care must be taken as burn injuries
can occur from touching/ spilled hot liquids.
Ensure that the appliance is kept away from children's reach.
Ensure the proper fit of body on the base before operating.
Never lift the kettle from the power base while it is in operation. Switch it off
before lifting/ placing the kettle from/ to the power base.
The cord length of this appliance was selected to reduce safety hazards that
may occur with a longer cord. If a longer cord is needed, an extension cord
may be used. It should be rated not less than 15 amperes. When using a
longer cord, be sure that it does not drape over a working area or dangle
where it could be pulled on or tripped over.
To avoid possible steam damage, turn spout away from walls or cabinets
during use. Use a protective pad under the appliance to prevent damage to
surfaces.
For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to
minimize the risk of fire or explosion, electric shock or to prevent
property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
