The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature control which allows

charging only within a temperature range of between 0°C and 70°C MAX.

A long battery service life is achieved in this manner. Observe the notes

for "battery disposal". The LED will flash red if the temperature is too high

or low when the battery is charging.

LED Functions of Battery (whilst charging)

• Red LED on = charging.

• Green LED on = battery fully charged.

• Flashing red LED = battery temperature is too high or low.

LED Functions of Tool

• Red LED = battery low.

• Green LED = staple/nail being fired.

Loading/Removing the Battery (FIG. C)

To load, slide battery into battery housing until it clicks. Squeeze the

battery release (4) and pull the battery out completely.

Checking the Safety Contact Nose Mechanism

• Ensure you remove all nails/staples from the magazine (8).

• Press the safety contact nose (10) on the workpiece and pull the trigger

• Place the safety contact nose on the workpiece and press the power

• Reload the nails/staples into the magazine (8).

NOTE: Do not use the power tool if the safety nose/contact mechanism

does not move freely.

• Ensure the tool is switched off and unplugged from the charger.

• Turn the tool so the magazine (8) is facing upwards.

• Squeeze magazine release (7) and slide the magazine out.
