3.
When using for the first time, wash the rack, baking plate and crumb tray and dry them carefully
before use. Before each use, check that the equipment is in good condition in all its parts, if it is
not, or if in doubt do not use it and have it checked by qualified personnel.
4.
Before being used for cooking, the appliance should be switched on "empty" to eliminate the
"smell of new" and any oils remaining from the production process. Insert the plug in the power
socket, turn thermostat to "max", turn the timer knob to position "20", position the selector knob
. When the cycle ends, remove the plug from the socket and wait until the appliance is cool
before removing the accessories.
Using the oven
Generally speaking it is not necessary to preheat the oven, but for some foods (meat, pastries) it is
advisable to preheat the oven as described above, making sure the door is closed properly.
Put the shelf grids or/and enamel baking tray at the desired height in the slots in the oven.
• Place the enamel tray at the bottom of the oven.
• Put the food (in the plate or baking tray, etc.) and shut the door.
• Follow these instructions:
-
Insert the plug in the power socket
-
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the temperature required
-
Turn the selector switch to desiderate position
-
Turn the timer knob to the time required: the pilot light and inside lamp come on and the oven
starts to heat: if cooking time is not sufficient, restart the timer for the time still required.
• When cooking is completed, turn the thermostat to pos. min (100) and remove the plug from the
power socket.
Never leave the appliance connected to the socket if it is not in use, especially for long periods.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention: before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, remove the plug from the outlet and wait for it
to cool.
Frequent cleaning prevents the formation of smoke and bad odors during cooking. Do not let fat
accumulate inside the appliance.
To clean the outer surface always use a soft cloth slightly damp with water only. For oven
cleaning (shelf grids and enamelled baking tray), use a slightly moist soft cloth; do not use metal
pads or abrasive products. Do not wash it under running water, submerge it in water, or place it
in a dishwasher. Before using the appliance, make sure that it is perfectly dry, especially the
contacts.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the body; do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive
products.
To replace the electrical cord a special tool is required: contact an authorised assistance centre
for eventual repairs.
If you decide to stop using the utensil, we recommend making it inoperative by cutting off the
power supply cord (after first making sure that the plug is removed from the mains socket) and
render harmless any parts possibly used as toys.
Do not dispose of non-biodegradable products in the environment but dispose of them in
accordance with current law. At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as
urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authorised differentiated waste collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service. The separate disposal of a household appliance avoids possible negative
consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered, thus obtaining significant savings in energy and resources. As a
reminder of the need to dispose of household appliances separately, the product is marked with a
crossed-out wheeled dustbin. Bear in mind that: structure, thermostat and electric resistances are of
metal. -Handles, knobs and front panel are of plastic. -Timer and selector dial are of plastic, with
metal parts. -Oven door is of glass and electric wires of copper covered with rubber. –Electric motor
is of iron, copper and rubber. –Shelf grids, enamel baking tray and crumb tray are of metal.
