Stokke® MyCarrier™ Cool
Using the front carrier - Facing inwards
When facing inwards in your Stokke® MyCarrier the child
has the "Happy hip position" This is a broad seating
position where the child has good support of back,
buttocks and thighs.
When to use: From newborn (minimum 3.5 kg /7.7 lb
and 53 cm/21inch.) until the child can hold its head
unaided. Babies need variation. We therefore
recommend that you limit the time your child is
spending in the Stokke® MyCarrier to 10-15 minutes in
the beginning.
How to use: Adjust your Stokke® MyCarrier so that the
head of the baby is positioned high up on your chest.
This is the safest place for the child to be. For a tall
person, this means that you have to put the waist belt
quite high around your waist, and adjust the shoulder
straps to achieve that position. As the child grows, you
can gradually lower the waist belt.
Adjust the width of the front carrier so that your baby
has good back support. The baby must not slide down,
as this can affect their breathing.
WARNING: To avoid the baby falling out or
loss of balance, use your knees and not your
waist when bending or lowering down.
WARNING: Always lock the carabiner with the
plastic carabiner lock.
WARNING: This product is only intended for
carrying one child at a time.
WARNING: Check for ripped seams, torn
straps or fabric and damaged fasteners before
each use.
