PRODUCT'S PRESENTATION
This tool is designed to perform impact drilling and
chiseling tasks in concrete and brick, as well as tasks
in other materials such as steel, wood, metal, ceramic
and plastic where normal drilling is required. The tool is
equipped with a depth gauge to adjust the desired dep-
th the whole to be made and the operation mode can
be easily changed by means of its function mode se-
lector switch. Moreover, the bit holder supplied allows a
quick and easy bit's insertion and removal.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all ins-
tructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instruc-
tions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
• Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches
and any other conditions that may affect its ope-
ration.
• Do not operate the tool in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry and tighten long hair.
• Avoid an accidental starting. Disconnect the bat-
tery from the tool and place the switch in the loc-
ked or off position before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the tool.
• Keep the tool and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease.
• Always wear eye and respiratory protection.
• Hold the tool by the insulated grip surface when
performing an operation where the tool may come
in contact with the hidden wiring. Contact with a
"live" wire will make exposed metal parts of the
tool "live" and shock the operator.
• Make sure all keys and adjusting wrenches are re-
moved from the tool before switching it on to avoid
them to fly away at high velocity.
• Use just enough pressure to keep the bit biting but
do not push too hard to avoid stalling the motor or
damaging the bit while drilling.
• Use the auxiliary handle where possible to gain
extra control and to prevent fatigue.
ASSEMBLY
Inserting the bits
1. Make sure the bit is properly clean and lightly lu-
bricate it with oil
2. Fit the desired bit onto the bit holder.
3. Slightly pull the bit out to ensure it is locked in pla-

Removing the bits
1. Retract back the bit holder locking sleeve.
2. Pull out the bit.
Mounting the auxiliary handle
1. Fit the auxiliary handle onto the ham-
mer.
2. Turn it clockwise to fix it in position.
OPERATION
Depth gauge adjustment

kwise to loosen the depth gauge.
2. Slide the depth gauge to the desired position. The
distance between the drill bit end and the depth
gauge should be equal to the depth of hole you
wish to make.
3. Turn the auxiliary handle knob clockwise to fix the
depth gauge in the desired position.
Forward/Reverse Selector
Depress the forward/reverse selector to the right to set
the rotation direction to the right.
Depress the forward/reverse selector to the left to set
the rotation direction to the left.
NOTE! The selector at the center position locks the tri-
gger and prevents an accidental starting.
Switching On/Off
To turn it on, slowly depress the trigger switch.
To turn it off, fully release the trigger switch.
NOTE! The trigger switch can be used as a variable
speed control mechanism. The higher the pressu-
re on the trigger switch, the higher will be the cutting
speed, while light pressure on the trigger results in a
low speed.
Function mode selection
This hammer is equipped with a function mode se-
lector which allows to change the mode of operation
depending on the task to be performed. To choose the
desired function:
1. Depress the selector unlocking button.
