Keep the noise emissions and vibrations to a
minimum.
Only use appliances which are in perfect wor-
king order.
Service and clean the appliance regularly.
Adapt your working style to suit the appliance.
Do not overload the appliance.
Have the appliance serviced whenever ne-
cessary.
Switch the appliance off when it is not in use.
Wear protective gloves.

Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain resi-
dual risks cannot be rules out. The following
hazards may arise in connection with the
equipment's construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protec-
tion is used.
Warning!
This equipment generates an electromagnetic
fi eld during operation. Under certain circumstan-
ces this fi eld may actively or passively impede
medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious
or fatal injuries, we recommend persons with
medical implants to consult their doctor and the
manufacturer of the medical implant prior to using
the equipment.
5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
The lawn mower is delivered unassembled. The
complete push bar and the grass basket must be
assembled before using the lawn mower. Follow
the operating instructions step-by-step and use
the pictures provided as a visual guide to easily
assemble the equipment.
Fitting the wheels (Fig. 3a to 3d):
Follow Fig. 3a to 3d for fi tting the wheels.

Fitting the push bar (Fig. 4a to 4c)
Take a bottom push bar (Fig. 2/Item 3) and fasten
it with the nut (Fig. 2/Item 13) as shown in Fig. 4a.
Proceed in the same way on the other side. Screw
the top push bar (Fig. 2/Item 1) to the bottom
push bar (Fig. 2/Item 3) as shown in Fig. 3b.
Push the switch unit (Fig. 3c / Item 15) into the
mount provided on the upper push bar (Fig. 3c /
Item 1).
Then attach the power cable to the push bar (Fig.
3d / Item A) using the cable clips (Fig. 2 / Item 14).
Mounting the catch basket (Fig. 4a to 4d)
First plug the left (Fig. 2 / Item 10a) and the right
(Fig. 2 / Item 10b) part of the housing together
as shown in Fig. 4a. Then plug the top part of
the housing (Fig. 2 / Item 9) onto the previously
assembled parts (Fig. 4b). Next push the catch
basket handle (Fig. 4c / Item 11) into the openings
on the catch basket. Before you fi t the catch bas-
ket you must ensure that the motor is switched
off and the blade is not rotating. Lift the ejector
fl ap (Fig. 2 / Item. 4) with one hand. With the other
hand, hold the grass basket by the handle and
hook it in from above (Fig. 4d).
Adjusting the cutting height
Important!
Adjust the cutting height only when the motor is
switched off and the power cable has been dis-
connected.
Before you begin to mow, check to ensure that the
blade is not blunt and that none of the fasteners
are damaged. To prevent any imbalance, replace
blunt and/or damaged blades. To carry out this
check, fi rst switch off the motor and pull out the
power plug.
The cutting height is adjusted as shown in Fig. 5.
To do so, turn the equipment upside down or tilt
it to the side. Position both the front and rear axle
in the same notch, so that the cutting blade runs
parallel to the lawn.

socket-outlet with a 220-240 Volt alternating
