4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Sample preparation for real color:
9) Install a membrane filter in a syringe and collect the sample to be analyzed in
order to remove solids and minimize interferences resulting from the turbidity of
the sample;
10) Fill the measurement cuvette with 15mL of the filtered sample present in the
syringe, observing the indicative line on the cuvette body;
11) Close the cuvette with its respective lid, observing the correct fit to avoid leaks in
the instrument;
Reading:
12) Gently shake the sample to homogenize it;
13) Handling the cuvette by the lid, dry it and clean it of any moisture, dirt or grease,
using the cleaning wipe that comes with the instrument;
14) Holding the cuvette by the lid, insert it into the measurement compartment,
aligning the indication on the cuvette with the instrument alignment arrow;
15) Carefully close the measurement lid;

distilled (or deionized) water, avoiding accumulation of residues or coloring in the

ADJUST
Cor Max can be adjusted in 5 points, respecting the following sequence:
0PCU  20PCU  100PCU  300PCU  500PCU
Adjustment should only be performed when there is evidence of significant
deviations that are above the accuracy of the instrument.
Fit patters:
To perform the color adjustment, stable standards with reliable values will be
needed in order to guarantee the best accuracy in the readings. Adjustments to
unreliable standards are the sole responsibility of the user.
