4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To accomplish the measurement adjustment:
1) Turn on the instrument, press briefly the On-Off button;
2) Using ▲ / ▼ buttons, browse to the Settings option and press briefly the
button.
3) Using ▲ / ▼ buttons, browse to the Adjust option and press briefly the Enter
button;
4) Using ▲ / ▼ buttons, browse to the Color option e pressione o botão Enter;
5) Using ▲ / ▼ buttons, select the manual option and press briefly the Enter button.
The message Setpoint 0PCU will appear on the screen;
6) Separate the standard solution cuvette (0PCU);
7) Gently shake the standard solution to homogenize it;
8) Handling the cuvette by the lid, dry it and clean it of any moisture, dirt or grease,
using the flannel that comes with the instrument;
9) Holding the cuvette by the cap, carefully insert it into the measurement
compartment, aligning the indication on the cuvette body with the instrument
alignment arrow;
10) Carefully close Cor Max's measurement lid;
11) To start reading and adjusting, press the Read button. The instrument will start
the analysis procedure of the inserted standard;
12) After the analysis of the 0PCU pattern, the instrument will display the message
Setpoint 20PCU;
13) Follow steps 7 to 11 using the standard 20PCU solution cuvette;
14) To adjust the other points, repeat steps 7 to 11, using the standard solution
cuvette corresponding to the value indicated on the instrument display;
15) At the end of the adjustment, the message Adjustment finished will appear on
the screen;
NOTE: To restore factory default values, go to Adjust and select the Factory
standard option.
