Problem
Possible cause
My oven is not heating enough.

The flame is too orange or blue.
Variations in the environment, the food
being cooked, the ambient tempe-
rature and the state of the Piana Gaz
oven may have a
affect the color of the flame.
The flame does not sustain.

You cannot light your Piana Gas oven.
1. Error in the boot process.
2. Empty gas cylinder.
3. Cracks or leaks in the hose.

5. Too fast rotation of gas block knob.
Prevention/solution
1. Check that the gas cylinder is full.
Even a cylinder containing little gas can
affect operation.
2. Check the hose for cracks or leaks.
3. Check that the gas cylinder and hose
are firmly attached to the gas block.
4. The gas block and the oven must not
be used in extreme conditions (eg in
strong winds).
The color of the flame has no conse-
quence or impact on the quality or
flavor of the food.
1. If the position of the Piana Gas oven
is inclined, the air will not circulate
properly.
2. Try to put it on a flat surface.
1. Go through the necessary steps of
pressing, holding, turning the gas valve
knob towards the « start position » for
a few seconds. This may take several
attempts depending on time elapsed
since last ignition, ambient tempera-
tures.
Caution, do not look directly at the
oven during the ignition process.
2. After many attempts, if the oven
does not turn on still not, check that
the gas cylinder is full.
Even a cylinder containing little gas can
affect operation.
3. Check the hose for cracks or leaks.
4. Check that the gas cylinder and hose
are firmly attached to the gas block.
5. Turning the gas block knob too
quickly may prevent ignition.
