3 INSTALLATION INFORMATION
The Hi-Box (AHP-SMB-01) has to be used together with
another Gateway to control and programme scenarios for the
installations:
• ATW-TAG-02, to control YUTAKI units
• SPX-TAG01, to control HITACHI RAC units

The product can be switched off completely by disconnecting the power
plug.

C A U T I O N
•
The Ethernet interface must never be directly connected to a
telephone socket.
4 HI-BOX INSTALLATION
4.1 PREREQUISITES
• An Internet connection, with an ADSL box equipped with
an Ethernet port is needed for the installation of the Hi-Box
device.
• For the activation of the Hi-Box a PIN code will be requested

Use only the cables and accessories supplied.
•
Avoid positioning the receiver against or close to any metallic part in
order to avoid any radio transmission drop.

•
Place the product in a detachable manner close to the device to be
controlled.
•
Do not install the Hi-Box where other devices using radio-frequencies
as means of transmission are prohibited (Refer to local standards in
effect).
•
Do not install the Hi-Box close to devices that may be affected by
radio waves.
•
Do not install the Hi-Box where persons wearing a pacemaker may
be present.
•
Do not install the device in a damp environment (for example, a
bathroom).

Please connect it to your ADSL box or to any other Switch or Ethernet
Hub type network equipment.
Read this installation guide and the safety instructions carefully
before starting installation of this product.
All the instructions given must be followed closely and this guide
