Troubleshooting
Here is a brief troubleshooting guide to help you identify problems and eliminate
them. If these tips do not solve the problem, please contact us for further assistance.
•
Is the hard drive motor working?
•
If so, you should hear a quiet buzzing sound and clicking noises after connecting
the hard drive to the power supply.
•
Does your computer recognise the drive?
•
Restart your computer.
Is the hard drive shown to be error-free in the Scan Disk test?
The Scan Disk utility checks drives for possible errors. If errors are found, this may
mean there is a problem with the hard drive.
Why doesn't the drive format to full capacity?
Check whether your operating system and the file system support the desired values.
