Only use the toaster with the crumb tray inserted in

its slot.
The crumb tray must be cleaned regularly to avoid

any risk of fire. To clean the crumb tray, slide it out
of its slot on the side of the appliance.
Only insert slices of bread without spread (i.e. butter,

jam, etc.) in the toaster. Similarly, be careful not to
insert slices of bread that are too thick and could
interfere with the lift function.
Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the appliance.
