Mounting instructions for electricians:
Points 27 to 29:
Electrical connection:
Caution:
•
Electrical connections are reserved to
authorized electricans!
•
The safety regulations of the hairdressing trade must
be observed. Installation and operation must be in
accordance with the norm IEC 60364 ...
•
During assembly work the complete system must
be isolated from the power supply and secured
against unintended switch-on!
•
In the shampoo station, use only the plug-in
connectors supplied with the appliance and specified
in the mounting instructions!
•
Cables must be so arranged that they are not in the
vicinity or moving parts! Damage or crushing must
thus be prevented!
•
For reasons of mechanical security as well as the
electromagnetic compatibility no cable excess may
be stowed away in the shampoo unit.
In addition, there is a risk of overheating and
even a fire hazard if excess cable lengths are
wound up.
•
No electrical installation that does not comply
with protection class IP66 may be laid within the
shampoo station! In particular, the use of
multiple socket strips can lead to a short circuit
and damage the shampoo station and pose a risk
to the user.
Shampoo station with direct connection:
•
The shampoo station must be connected to the
electrical floor outlet by a qualified electrician.
ATTENTION: The height of the shampoo station can be
adjusted electrically and must be raised to the highest
position for making the direct connection using the foot
switch (illustr. 4). To do this, provisionally connect the
shampoo station to the power grid connect:
Remove the inspection cover on the back. To open, press
the chrome-plated button and pull to release the magnetic
connection (illustr. 2).
Pull the cable with the mains plug outwards at the back
(illustr. 1) and plug it into a wall plug socket for a
temporary electrical connection.
ATTENTION: when the shampoo station is in the
highest position, switch off the electrical connection
for making the direct connection.
27. Make direct connection: (illustr. 12 – 15)
Disconnect the Wieland plug (H) from the Wieland
socket (K) (turn the ring on the plug from "lock
symbol closed" to "lock symbol open"). (illustr. 13)
Shorten the cable from the floor for as long as
possible little excess length within the shampoo
station.
Then remove the Wieland socket (K) from the mains
cable with plug and connect it to the cable from the
floor. (illustr. 14)
