Make sure back of the dispenser is at least 4 inches from a wall
and that air is free to flow on all four sides of dispenser.
•
Make sure the water temperature is below 89°F in water bottle.
•
Water may still be cooling. Please dispense water when the cold
water indicator light changing from blinking to fully on.
DISPENSER IS NOISY
•
Make sure that the dispenser is positioned on a level surface.
ICE NOT BEING MADE
•
Place the unit is enough a cool enough location.
•
Make sure the water temperature is below 89°F.
ICE NOT DISPENSING
•
Your machine may still be producing ice. Check that Ice Indicator light is fully on.
•
Check that there are not ice chunks or any other debris blocking the Ice/Water Spout.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
General Cleaning
General cleaning should be performed as needed and only takes five minutes or less.
1.
Clean the cabinet surfaces using a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse.
2.
Wipe dust in the back of the water cooler to improve efficiency.
3.
Remove Drip Tray Cover and hand wash. Take a cloth and warm,
soapy water to rinse the inside of the Drip Tray, then rinse.
4.
Reattach Removable Drip Tray Cover.
Cleaning Water Lines & Reservoirs
Cleaning the water lines is recommended to happen once every three months.
For best results, use a mild bleach and water solution of 1 tablespoon or less of
bleach to 1 gallon of water. Make sure to wear gloves when handling solution.
NOTE: Recommended to do before loading a new 3 or 5 gallon jug.
1.
Unplug power cord from outlet and remove water cooler bottle.
2.
Wash the Siphon Tube and clean with warm, soapy water. Rinse.
3.
While wearing rubber gloves, fill an empty water cooler jug with a 1 gallon of
water and 1 tablespoon or less of unscented chlorine bleach. Stir well.
4.
Install the water jug filled with cleaning solution.
5.
Plug your dispenser into, and follow steps to make cold water. Allow the reservoir to fill
with the solution. Let the mixture sit for five to 10 minutes to disinfect the reservoir.
6.
Unplug the power cord. Drain the cleaning mixture into a bowl or
pitcher by unplugging the drain hole in the back of the machine.
7.
Refill your empty water bottle with clean water and allow to fill the
reservoir again. Drain again. If you detect any taste or scent of bleach,
add another two gallons of clean water, drain and retest.
