— Assemble the desired attachment (nozzles / diffuser) onto the air outlet.
— Connect the appliance to the power supply.
— Keep pressing the lower part of the air blow setting switch for approx. 2 seconds to switch
on the appliance.
— Press the upper and lower part of the air blow setting switch to select the desired air blow.
The respective indication is shown on the display.
— Press the upper and lower part of the temperature setting switch to select the desired
temperature. The respective indication is shown on the display.
— During operation with the settings of low / medium / high temperature, keep pressing
the cold shot button to activate the cold air function; release the cold shoot button to
deactivate the cold air function. The cold shot button can be pressed to activate the cold
air function, even if the auto-lock function is activated.

— When the operation is finished, keep pressing the lower part of the air blow setting switch
for approx. 2 seconds to switch off the appliance.
— Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Place it on a heat-resistant surface or
hang it onto a hook to let it cool down.
NOTE: The appliance features a self-cleaning function. It is recommended to operate the
appliance in self-cleaning mode, after the filter and filter cover are cleaned and refit onto
the air inlet. Never attempt to operate the appliance in self-cleaning mode more than two
continuous cycles, to protect the motor unit from damage.
• After the appliance is switched on and off again, within approx. 10 seconds, keep
pressing the upper part of the air blow setting switch and the lower part of tempe-
rature setting switch for approx. 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning function.
• The appliance operates in self-cleaning mode with the setting of high air blow for
approx. 10 seconds and switches off automatically afterward. The display does not
turn on during the operation in self-cleaning mode.
— Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely.
— Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfec-
ting agents as they may damage its surface.
— Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to clean it. Make sure that the
electrical parts do not become wet or damp.
— Rotate the filter cover slightly counterclockwise to disengage the tongues from the slots
and remove the filter cover from the air inlet. Clean the filter and filter cover with clean
water and dry them afterward. Ensure the filter and filter cover are completely dry be-
fore refitting them to the air inlet.
— Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe
with a dry soft cloth.
— The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely.
