Please carefully read the safety instructions and the user manual before using this product. Keep away from children. Use the device only as
specified in the user manual.
The kit includes: transmitter, receiver, remote unit, RJ11 patch cord, RJ45 patch cord, wire with alligator clips, DC cable, earbuds, carry
bag, user manual, and warranty.
Install batteries
Open the battery compartment cover and insert the battery according to the correct polarity marks. Close the cover.
Charging the device
Transmitter
Press and hold the Power button (1) for 3 seconds to turn the transmitter on/off.
Receiver
Press and hold the Scan button (20) for 3 seconds to turn the receiver on/off.
Wire mapping
This function is used to check if the wires within the cable are connected correctly.
Network cable test
1.
Plug one end of the cable into the RJ45 MAIN port (12) on the transmitter and the other end into the RJ45 SCAN port (14) on the
transmitter;
or
Plug one end of the cable into the RJ45 MAIN port (12) on the transmitter and the other end into the RJ45 port (22) on the remote unit.
2.
Press any key to enter the menu, select WireMap (Wire mapping) and press PAIR&L (4) button.
Possible outcomes are shown below:
Open (RJ45 SCAN port on the transmitter and RJ45 MAIN
port on the transmitter)
Coaxial cable test
1.
Plug one end of the cable to the BNC connector (10) on the transmitter and plug the other end to the BNC connector (21) on the remote unit.
2.
Select Coax/Tel (Coaxial cable or telephone cable test) and press PAIR&L (4) button.
Possible outcomes are shown below:
Normal
Cross
Normal
Open
Open (RJ45 port on the remote unit and RJ45 MAIN
port on the transmitter)
Disconnected or not connected well

Short
Short
