7 ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the power plug before carrying out any adjustments or
maintenance.
7.1
Inserting bit or drill
▪
Open the chuck (1) with the chuck key (9).
▪
Insert the drill or bit in the chuck.
▪
Check if the bit or drill is in the centre of the chuck.
▪
Hand-tighten the chuck
▪
Tighten the chuck firmly with the chuck key (9).
Wear heavy-duty work gloves to provide protection when inserting and
removing drills. Drills become very hot during use. Do not remove drills
until the're cooled.
7.2
Auxiliary handle
The auxiliary handle (8) will provide additional control, support and guidance for the drill.
▪
Turn the handle grip anti-clockwise to loosen the collar and slip it over the chuck onto
the tool.
▪
Turn the side grip in the required position and tighten it firmly. The auxiliary handle can
be swiveled 360°.
7.3
Depth gauge
The depth gauge helps to keep an accurate depth when drilling holes to a set depth.
▪
Loosen the side grip (8).
▪
Insert the depth stop (2) in the hole in the holder of the side grip.
▪
Adjust the depth stop to the required drilling depth.
▪
Tighten the side grip firmly.
8 OPERATION
8.1
Selecting the operation mode
Select the required operating mode before use (drilling or hammer drilling).
▪
For drilling in wood, metal, plastics and soft stone, slide the switch (3) to the drill
position.
▪
For drilling in concrete or hard stone, slide the switch (3) to the hammer position.
8.2
Forward / reverse lever
▪
To select forward position (right rotation), push the forward / reverse lever (7) to the right
(R).
▪
To select the reverse position (left rotation), push the forward / reverse lever (7) to the
left (L).
8.3
Variable speed
This tool has a speed control dial (6) that is used to adjust the drilling speed. This tool delivers
higher speed by turning the speed control dial (6) to the "+" position and delivers lower speed
by turning it to the "-" position.
8.4
Switching ON and OFF
Connect the tool to the power supply.
This tool has a variable speed switch that delivers higher speed and torque with increased
trigger pressure. Speed is controlled by the amount of switch trigger depression.

To start the machine, you squeeze the ON / OFF switch (4).
▪
To stop the machine, you release the ON / OFF switch
