OPERATION
• Holding the HANDLE with one
hand, pull the FOLDING LEG
up towards you with the other
hand and lock into position.
• Place the V Blade Slicer on a
stable surface.
• Select your desired
PLATE/SLICER from the
PLATE
STORAGE.
• Slide the PLATE/SLICER on
top of the PLATE RELEASE
BUTTON until it locks into place
(indicated by a 'click' sound).
WARNING! Always hold the
HANDLE firmly when fitting the
PLATES. The LOWER
RUNWAY is very sharp.
• The inside of the FOOD
HOLDER/FINGER GUARD has
6 slim pins to firmly grip the
ingredients. You should place
the food either horizontally
across or lengthways (pointing
down from the pins) onto the
pins so that the food is firmly in
place and will not move when
the sliding motion takes place in
order to protect your hands.
• Ensure the arrows on the
FOOD HOLDER/FINGER
GUARD are facing in the up and
down position.
Sit the FOOD
HOLDER/FINGER GUARD
and your chosen ingredients at
the top end of the PLATE fitted.
NOTE: for ease and efficiency,
use the V Blade
Slicer with it sloping away from yourself.
• Use your palm to firmly press on top of the FOOD HOLDER/FINGER GUARD and gently
slide the fruit or veg down towards the LOWER RUNWAY. Use your other hand to keep the V
Blade Slicer from moving.
WARNING! Always use the FOOD HOLDER/FINGER GUARD when slicing ingredients.
Never use your hands.
CAUTION: the motion should be quick and smooth.
Never force the FOOD HOLDER/FINGER GUARD down towards the BLADE on the
LOWER RUNWAY as this may damage the product and cause injury to the user.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the V Blade Slicer should be done immediately after use to prevent any
foods from drying on the blades.
CAUTION: the V Blade Slicer is not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is
recommended.
• Disconnect the PLATE/SLICER by using the PLATE RELEASE BUTTON.
• Clean the PLATE/SLICER with warm soapy water to remove any food residue.
CAUTION: the use of a cleaning brush is recommended to remove any food lodged
in the SLICER to avoid contact with the blades as they are very sharp.
• Wipe the body of the appliance using warm soapy water and a damp cloth.
WARNING! Take extreme caution around the blades on the LOWER RUNWAY as
they are very sharp.
• Dry all components thoroughly before storing in the PLATE STORAGE provided.
Return the FOLDING LEG on the V Blade Slicer to its original position and store high
out of reach of children.
