BATTERY AND FUSE REPLACEMENT
The battery has a thermal fuse with a resting fuse that will automatically trip and cut off all power to the vehicle
if the engine, electrical system or battery is overcharged. The fuse will reset and power will be restored after the
unit is turned off for 20 seconds and then turned back on. If the thermal fuse is triggered repeatedly during
normal use, the vehicle may need to be repaired. Please contact your dealer.
To avoid losing power, follow these guidelines:
×
Do not overload the vehicle.
×
Do not tow anything behind the vehicle.
×
Do not drive on steep slopes.
×
Do not drive towards fixed objects, as this can cause the wheels to rotate and the engine to overheat.
×
Do not drive in very hot weather, components may overheat.
×
Do not allow water or other liquids to come in contact with the battery or other electrical components.
×
Do not alter the electrical system. Doing so may create a short circuit, causing the fuse to trip.
MAINTENANCE
×
Occasionally use oil to lubricate moving parts such as wheels.
×
Do not hose down the vehicle. Water will damage the engine, electrical system and battery.
×
Wipe the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth. To restore the shine to plastic parts, use a non-wax furniture polish. Do not
use car wax. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
×
Make sure that the plastic parts of the vehicle are not cracked or broken.
×
Park the vehicle in an enclosed area or cover it with a tarpaulin to protect it from moisture.
×
Do not drive the vehicle over loose dirt, sand or fine gravel that could damage moving parts, motors or the
electrical system.
×
To prolong battery life we recommend charging it at least once a month regardless of usage.
STORAGE
×
When not in use, all electrical sources must be turned off. Turn off the power switch and disconnect the
battery connection.
×
Store the vehicle inside or cover it with a tarpaulin to protect it from moisture.
×
Keep the vehicle away from heat sources such as stoves and heaters. Plastic parts can melt.
