STEAM SPRAY FUNCTION
(Mod. 510, 530)
lhe exclusive patented SlEAM SPRAY system
represents the latest and biggest innovation in
the world of ironing systems. Apart from the
large amount of steam coming from the
soleplate, it is also possible to have a powerful
steam burst that comes from the front of the
iron. lhis steam burst is more intense than the
drier steam coming from the soleplate and gives
excellent results especially when ironing more
difficult fabrics; it is ideai far eliminating false
creases and wrinkles. Using SlEAM SPRAY is
recommended far pronounced edges and near
buttons and zips.
Activating Steam Spray is very simple: when
ironing, press button (7) to release steam from
soleplate; pressing fully releases steam from
the nozzle atthe front ofthe iron.
VERTICAL IRONING
lhis system is useful for reviving fabrics
eliminating creases just using steam:
• Set the temperature control dial to the
maximum three points.
• Hang the garment up and keep the fabric taut
with one hand.
• Hold the iron vertically nearthe fabric.
• Press the steam button moving the iron from
topto bottom.
ORYIRONING
lo dry iron, simply fit the plug in the power
socket, press the iron start switch (3), adjust
the temperature as required by means of knob
(1) and wait for the soleplate temperature
indicatar (12) to go off.
GOOO IRONING HINTS
• Do not iron on solid surfaces, e.g. kitchen
table, because under these conditions the
steam cannot escape, condensation forms
between the surface and the cloth, dampening
it excessively.
• Separate the garments accarding to the
temperatures written on the care label and
start by ironing those that require the lowest
temperatures: the iron takes less time to heat
than to cool. If the fabric is mixed (e.g. 30%
cotton and 70% man-made) setthe iron to the
temperature of the fabric that needs the lowest
temperature. lo establish the temperature of a
fabric whose composition is unknown, this
should be tested on a hidden area starting
from the lowest temperature and increasing
slowly.
