READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS
TRACTOR CART
When using this tractor cart, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
WARNING: When the tractor cart is connected to,
or being towed by, a tractor or lawnmower (hereafter
referred to as "towing vehicle"), follow all the
towing vehicle manufacturer' s safety and operating
instructions related to the towing vehicle and to the
towing operation for a conveyance such as a tractor
cart.
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
safety instructions may result in serious injury. All
safety precautions should be followed to reduce risk
of personal injury or property damage, including but
not limited to the following:
• This tractor cart is intended for use as a lawn and
garden utility cart. Use only as intended. Use only
the parts provided to assemble the tractor cart.
• Maintain control of the tractor cart, and any
towing vehicle if connected to the tractor cart,
at all times.
• Do not allow the tractor cart to carry human or
animal passengers. Keep children, bystanders, and
animals away from the work area when using the
tractor cart.
• Stay alert. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all
body parts away from openings and moving parts,
whether the tractor cart is stationary or in motion.
Use common sense. Be aware of surroundings.
• Do not exceed the braking capability of the
towing vehicle. The weight of the load in the
tractor cart, or a shift in the load, could affect the
braking capability and/or the stability of the towing
vehicle.
• Do not exceed the tractor cart maximum towing
speed of 5 mph (8 km/h), or the towing vehicle's
maximum towing speed, whichever is lower.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of
800 lbs (363 kg) when towing (or the towing
vehicle's maximum load capacity, whichever
is lower), 350 lbs (159 kg) when using swivel
feature, or 150 lbs (68 kg) when using
wheelbarrow feature.
• Do not exceed the tractor cart tire maximum
inflation printed on the side of the tire.
• Do not use the tractor cart on the highway or on
other regulated roadways.
• Do not use the tractor cart on a steep slope or
incline, or on a grade greater than 10°.
• Do not use the tractor cart if it is showing signs
of malfunction in any way, if the tractor cart is
not working correctly, has been damaged, or has
experienced physical impact.
• Avoid exposing the tractor cart to flammable or
corrosive materials. Do not burn materials in the
tractor cart bed or expose the tractor cart to burning
materials or damaging chemicals.
• Maintain the tractor cart with care. Follow
instructions for proper cleaning, maintenance, and
storage.
• Store when not in use. Follow recommended
storage instructions when not in use.
Additional Safety Instructions
WARNING: ALWAYS use safety glasses and other
personal protection equipment (PPE) during
assembly, use, cleaning, or maintenance activities.
Everyday eyeglasses are NOT safety glasses. ALWAYS
WEAR CERTIFIED SAFETY EQUIPMENT (ANSI Z87.1 eye
protection (CAN/CSA Z94.3)).
CAUTION: Before performing any cleaning or
maintenance activities, ensure the tractor cart is
detached from any towing vehicle. Ensure the tractor
cart is on level ground and immobilized. Do not
attempt to clean or perform maintenance to the
tractor cart while it is in motion.
