• Remove all transport safety and packing
material from inside the unit.
Caution: Carefully inspect the unit for damage,
such as a misaligned or bent door, broken or loose
door hinges and latches. Make sure that the door
closes properly. If there is any damage, do not
operate the microwave oven and contact your
dealer or customer service.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level and heat-
resistant surface with sufficient distance to the
walls to ensure adequate ventilation.
• The microwave oven should be placed as
far away as possible from TV sets, radios or
antennas, otherwise image interference or
noise may occur.
• When the microwave oven with grill function
is used for the first time, there may be a slight
emission of smoke and odor. This is normal and
will disappear after a few uses.
MICROWAVES OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Microwaves are electromagnetic high-frequency
waves. The energy emitted can be used to heat or
reheat food.
• The microwaves generated by the magnetron
are reflected and evenly distributed inside
the cooking chamber as the food rotates on
the turntable. In this way, the food is heated
evenly.
• The microwaves penetrate about 2.5 cm
deep into the food. The cooking process then
continues by spreading the heat throughout
the food.
4
• Cooking times will vary depending on the
container used, the quantity and density of the
food, water content and initial temperature
(frozen or not).
