THE DUST SEPARATOR IS MADE
OF STATIC DISSIPATING PLASTIC
HOW TO MAKE TEMPLATE FOR
DRUM LID AND DUST SEPARATOR
1. Place dust separator drawing in center
of drum lid.
2. With pen, trace around base and bolt
holes.
3. Connect opposite bolt holes with lines
as shown above to nd center.
4. As shown in the gure, the circle with
a center diameter of 3.09 "is the hole size
of the drum lid. Cut this area (the shadow
part in the center) on the drum lid.
5. Use 11/64"drill bit (the drill size should not
be greater than the recommended size) to
drill the bolt holes. The drilling locations are
the six shaded areas shown in the gure.
6. With the Lid in an upside down position,
insert provided screws, Use screwdriver
to secure and tighten.
7. Lid must completely seal to drum. Seal ring
must be used. Any air leaks will affect
performance.
8. Attach one hose from top dust separator
outlet to shop vacuum and the other hose
from side dust separator inlet to your tools
or use hose by itself to pick up waste.
