8. Activate the plate lock before storing the product.
Power button lock
1. Press the power button twice while the hair straightener is
switched off. The battery indicator light will flash red three
times to indicate that the lock function has been activated.
2. While the hair straightener is locked, press the power
button twice. The power indicator light will flash blue three
times indicating that the appliance has been unlocked.
Next, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to
operate the hair straightener normally.
3. When the hair straightener is switched on, the locking and
unlocking functions are not activated. First you have to
press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to switch
it off, then you have to press the button twice to be able to
use these functions.
Note
The battery indicator light and the power indicator light will
flash at the same time when product malfunction is detected.
In that case, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support
Service.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Switch off the hair straightener and allow it to cool down
-
before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the plates and housing.
- Do not use abrasive detergents, cleaning agents or
solvents.
- Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
- If you store the product for a long period of time, fully
charge the battery and discharge it again at least once
