OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Uncoil the cable completely.
2. Check if the heating plates are clean and dust-free. If necessary,
wipe them with a damp cloth.
3. Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
4. Connect the plug into rated voltage and the cooking surface begins
pre-heating and the red and green lamp will be illuminated at the
same time. As soon as the cooking surface has reached the preset
temperature (usually it will take about 2'30"~3'30" minutes), the green
lamp will not be illuminated and this appliance is ready to cooking.
5. Open the appliance and place your food on the lower plate. Deep-
frozen food should be completely defrosted prior to grilling.
6. Close the appliance. At this time, the green lamp will be illuminated
again. (During using the indicator lamp will on and off due to
automatic temperature control.)
7. During the cooking, excess fat will flow through the drain holes into
the drip tray.
8. Open the appliance after the green lamp off again, at this time, the
food is OK, of course, it can be cooked again according to your taste.
9. After cooking, open the appliance to remove your food with a
wooden or plastic spatula.
10. After using, pull out the plug and open the upper lid let it get cool.
CAUTION
1. As the difference of food type and thickness or taste, the cooking
time is about 5-8 minutes.
2. For the first usage, make the appliance heating without any
foodstuffs for about ten minutes. There may be slight smoke or smell.
This is normal and harmless.
3. During the operating process, the red lamp will be always light on.
4. If too much food is loaded in the appliance and it can not be
closed, never close it with undue force as this could damage the
appliance.

5. Never use sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this would
damage the non-stick coating of cooking surface. Use heat-resistant
wood or plastic utensils only.
6. Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in
use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be aware that parts of the appliance become very hot during
operation. Unplugged and wait for it to completely cool down before
cleaning or storage.
2. Wipe the cooking surface with a soft damp cloth every time after
use. If it is difficult to remove residues, use a little oil can soften it.
3. Do not use any spray-on metal objects as they would damage the
non-stick coating.
4. In case of any problem, please contact the authorized service
center for help.
