2. Setting Up the Snare Stand and Snare

Assembling the Snare Stand
To assemble the snare stand, insert the upper pipe
attached to the snare basket into the tripod base.
(Fig. 2). Using the black plastic nut to adjust the snare
basket, fully open the basket and place the snare drum
in the basket. Make sure to place the snare drum in
a position so the tension rods and strainer are not in
the way of the snare basket arms. Then, rotate the
adjusting nut to close the snare basket and secure the

drum in place. Do not overtighten the snare basket,
as this could aff ect the sound of the snare drum. After
setting the snare drum on the stand, adjust the height
and the angle to your desired position.
