Starting a warm motor
• Set the tool on leveled ground and verify the blade is
not making contact with any obstacle.
• Firmly hold the front handle with your left hand and put
your right foot onto the rear handle base.
• Set the switch in the ON position (A).
• Press and release the primer bulb 10 times (B).

To stop the motor

• Press and hold the switch in the OFF (E) position until
the motor stops.

Operation

• Double check you are firmly holding the tool and your
body weight is well distributed on both feet.
• Keep the cutting system below your waist level.
• Keep away finger and other body parts away from the
cutting blade.
WARNING
• Always keep both hands in the tool
handles. Never hold shrubs with one hand while you
operate the tool with your other hand. Otherwise you
could get severely injured.
• With the tool running set the blade aligned but not
touching the shrub surface.
• Press the trigger until the blade reaches its highest
speed.
• Start to cut moving from one side to the other, rotating
your waist and keeping the tool in a horizontal
position.
• Cut gradually to avoid overloading the
tool.
• To make vertical cuts move your hand
through the front handle while the blade is
vertical. Keep the hand on the front handle
in keeping the same height while moving the
rear handle up and down to make the blade
run with up and down movements.
• Always keep the blade well lubricated.
