FIRST USE
1.
Turn on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button (15): the lights of the three
buttons (15), (16) and (17) come on for a few seconds.

Make sure the steam knob is in the position

The lights (16) and (17) flash to indicate that the preset temperature is being
reached. The coffee machine is ready for use as soon as the lights become
steady.
4.
Press the steam button (17).
5.
As soon as the light become steady, place a container under the hot water/steam
wand (6).
6.
Turn the steam knob (7) to the position
comes out.
This operation must also be carried out if the tank runs out of water during
operation.

Then close the knob back to position
OPERATION
ESPRESSO WITH GROUND COFFEE
1. Insert the one or two cup ground coffee filter into the filter
holder (the corresponding number 1-CUP/2-CUP is
stamped under each filter).
2. Fill the filter with a level measure of ground coffee if you
want to prepare just one coffee, otherwise fill the filter with
2 level measures if you want to prepare 2 coffees.
3. Press the ground coffee using the pusher (11).
4. Remove the excess ground coffee from the edge of the
filter holder.
5. Attach the filter holder by aligning the handle with the
symbol
and turning it to the right to the position
6. Place the cup or cups under the filter holder spouts and
press the dispensing button
7. After reaching the desired amount of coffee, press the release button again
8. Remove the cup(s) and serve.
9. To prepare more coffees, detach the filter holder by turning the handle to the left, empty the filter of the
already used coffee powder and refill it with ground coffee.
Helpful tips:
•
To obtain a strong coffee, press the ground coffee hard with the tamper.
•
To obtain a light coffee, lightly press the ground coffee with the tamper.
