Wear the correct respirator. Consult MSDS of
material being used for respiratory protection.
•
Keep area well ventilated at all times while
spraying and for sufficient time thereafter to
allow flammable vapors from drying paint to be
exhausted.
•
An explosive environment can result from
spraying flammable paints or finishes and
cleaning the gun.
•
Do not spray flammable materials in the vicinity
of open flames, pilot lights or near other ignition
sources including those caused by hot surfaces,
electrical sparks and mechanically generated
sparks due to rubbing and friction.
The use of other than genuine Powerforce by Ingersoll-Rand replacement parts may result in safety hazards,
decreased tool performance, and increased maintenance, and may invalidate all warranties.

Electric and gasoline motors, electrical equip-
ment and controls can cause electrical arcs that
will ignite a flammable gas or vapor.

Never spray closer than 25 feet to the compres-
sor and if possible locate the compressor in
another room.
•
Do not switch electrical equipment on or off in
the spray area.
•
Portable electric lamps shall not be used in any
spray area during spray applications.
•
Do not smoke in spray area.
•
Never leave equipment unattended. Keep away
from children or anyone not familiar with the
operation of the spray gun.
