Before using the appliance
Remove all packaging before using the appliance for the first time.
Clean the reusable filter and the filter bracket thoroughly with water and soap, then rinse
and dry them.
Brew a glass of water without any coffee, following the operation guidelines below.
Operation
WARNING: Always unplug the appliance before filling the water tank. Never operate the
appliance without water.
Remove the water tank from the base. Open the tank lid and fill it with fresh water up to
the MAX mark.
Place the tank back on the base with the lid closed.
Add the required amount of coffee into the filter and level it without crushing it. Then
place the filter in the filter holder.
Insert the filter holder into the appliance so that the handle is aligned with the mark
and turn clockwise until it stops in the LOCK position.
Place one or two cups on the drip tray. Make sure that they are aligned with the coffee
spouts.
Plug in the appliance. Then turn the On/Off button to the "I" position. The indicator light
will turn red. Wait for the green indicator light to come on.
Preparing espresso coffee
Espresso is a coffee brewing method in which hot water is filtered through ground co-
ffee under high pressure. To brew this type of coffee, follow the steps below:
Turn the control knob to the position
brewing coffee.
When the cup has been filled, turn the control knob to the position
release the pressure. It is likely that a few drops of hot water will fall onto the drip tray.
Once you have turned the knob to the position
