5. Peel backing off one side of Adhesive Mounting Pad
to outside of Mounting Cap
, as shown.

Peel backing off other side of Adhesive Mounting Pad, and place
Mounting Cap over end of Adjustment Bumper
NOTE: Make sure gate stays straight up and down (90º to floor) and
in center of door frame during this process.
Slide Adjustment Bumper
out of gate frame toward door frame,

until Mounting Cap sticks to door frame. Repeat this for other three
Mounting Caps.
OPTIONAL: If mounting to drywall, mark center of mounting caps.
Pull mounting caps off wall. Drill holes and insert wall anchors.
Secure mounting caps with screws. Tighten all four screws securely
with handheld Phillips screwdriver, but do not overtighten.
6. Using the wrench, turn both upper Adjustment Bumpers
lower Adjustment Bumpers
, as shown, until all four rubber ends

contact the mounting caps.
Check that the gate is still straight up and down then turn each
bumper two more full rotations or until tight.
7. Test to make sure the gate frame assembly is secure by firmly
shaking it. If it moves, it needs to be re-installed. Repeat steps 5 – 6.
WARNING
BEFORE removing the YELLOW TAG and cutting the
PLASTIC TIES, ENSURE the gate is securely in place
or serious injury may result.
8. With your gate securely in place, remove the yellow tag then cut
and discard the plastic ties.

9. Adjust both upper bumpers

10. Inspect the gate door. Make sure it swings freely and
latches securely.

1. To open gate, slide button H while lifting gate door slightly I and
swing the gate open.
2. When window J is red, gate is NOT latched.

• Wash gate with mild soap and warm water and dry thoroughly before using.
• Metal and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and dried with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners

• Remember to clean rubber ends of adjustment bumpers with rubbing alcohol before each use.
